ISEA Foundation, in Special Consultative Status with the ECOSOC in the United Nations, held a Roundtable on World Human Rights Day. The meeting dealt with various topics including announcement of Survival Human Rights, change of perspective on Human Rights issues and the release of Blockchain MobiDollar.
Since social distancing was elevated to the 2nd level due to COVID-19, only the main interest representatives that fully understood and agreed on the foundation’s policies were present whereas international NGO representatives and partner companies joined the conference through sending video clips beforehand.
At the conference, 15 domestic and international speakers proposed solutions regarding the human rights issues that have arisen from COVID-19 from various perspectives in the quarantine, policies, finance and awareness sector. International speakers, in particular, requested urgent aid with the current situation and emphasized the importance of MobiDollar to overcome the crisis the world is facing.
ISEA Foundation Chairman Henry Kim stressed the need for the conversion from political to a broader and diverse perspective on the human rights problems the world is having now. He emphasized that we have to find the fundamental reasons of human rights abuse from financial system slavery and in order to solve these problems, UN must work together on the progress of Blockchain techology MobiDollar project.
The foundation allocated 10% of MobiDollar as a free support fund for Survival Human Rights. As part of the COVID-19 Care Fund, some amounts of coins have already been provided to the accounts of representatives from 200 organizations in 110 cities.
